Arnfinn Grøtvedt som er ett trofast medlem i klubben og seniorgruppa reiste hele 5 793,6384 km til Valhalla i Kentucky for å jobbe som frivillig under Truist Championship.

1. What made you decide to travel from Norway to volunteer at the Truist Championship?
After I went to see the PGA Championship at Valhalla in Kentucky last year, it made me want to experience one of the major golf tournaments from the inside as a volunteer. This, paired with my great passion for golf both as a player and a spectator made me sign up as a volunteer
2. Is this your first time volunteering at a PGA TOUR event? If not, where else have you volunteered?
This is my first time volunteering at a PGA TOUR event.
3. What role did you serve during the tournament, and what did you enjoy most about it?
My role was being a Shotlink Mobile Spotter. The thing I enjoyed the most was the people I met there. My fellow volunteers, the players, and the spectators.
4. What was the highlight of your experience during tournament week?
There were many highlights. Of course, getting close to the world’s best players and especially Viktor Hovland, but also getting the opportunity to see one of these major tournaments from the inside. Eating breakfast with the other volunteers every morning was a very pleasant experience, and everyone I had the pleasure of meeting there was so nice! And last but not least, as a Norwegian, getting to ride a yellow school bus every morning.
5. Will we see you back at another PGA TOUR event in the future?
I would very much like to come back if I get the opportunity to do so again.
6. Favorite PGA TOUR golfer?
Viktor Hovland.

Meet Arnfinn Grøtvedt, a Truist Championship volunteer who traveled over 3,600 miles from Norway.
